Legislative regulations are drawn up and enacted to ensure that the statutory regulations are adhered to and adequate to fulfil their aims and objectives. Three applicabilities, namely philosophical, sociological, and juridical, strongly influence the effectiveness of statutory regulations. Philosophical applicability shows that laws and regulations must follow intellectual values that live in society. At the same time, sociological bearing states that the community recognizes any rule and regulation and meets the people s needs and developments. Juridical applicability indicates that an authorized institution must make the statutory regulations stipulate the content is suitable. The form of the Law does not conflict with the higher rules, and the legislator makes it through a predetermined procedure. This research is a descriptive analysis using a normative juridical approach. The study results indicate that the non-compliance of statutory regulation to the three applications will create the potential for carrying a judicial review, both formally and materially, which causes the court that has the power to review to cancel the Law.

Human rights education provides a fair understanding of the structure of injustice on the basis of cultural, economical, and social discrimination at various levels of caste, gender, etc. Possibly the knowledge of own rights enhances the sense of self and respect for all. The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the levels of awareness of these rights amongst students of higher secondary school levels. The study followed the descriptive survey design method and stratified random sampling techniques were adopted to select the sample. A self-developed awareness scale and focus group discussion were used to collect data. The data were analyzed by using simple percentile and content analysis. The findings of the study indicated that many of the students are aware of fundamental human rights while limited awareness about the right to education as a human right and its provisions. The study recommended that programs should be organized to create awareness of human rights education and the role of various organizations in the protection of the right of a human. Because human rights education could create opportunities to raise critical questions on the violation of rights related to a child, education, injustice, etc.

The data collection techniques used are in-depth interviews with teacher and student as informants, observations, and documentation. The data analysis technique uses the Miles and Huberman model with stages of reducing data, presenting data and drawing conclusions and verification. The data credibility test is carried out with a member check. The results of the research obtained are that habituation to congregational prayers can reduce structural conflicts by fostering a sense of brotherhood, familiarity, building concern, eliminating aggressiveness and social inequality, and realizing that human standing is the same before Allah SWT.

Soft skills are career traits that individuals need to possess in order to be employable. These attributes include communication, problem solving, time management, teamwork, and ethics, to mention a few. The Moroccan Ministry of Higher Education has made different reforms in order to ensure the implementation and the development of soft skills and Bachelor Degree Reform of 2019 (BDR) is one of them. However, this reform was cancelled and the new minister of the Moroccan Higher Education and Scientific Research introduced a modified version of the LMD (Licence, Master, Doctorat) system to ensure the implementation of soft skills (Miraoui, 2022). Such modifications were made in order to ease the strain of the transition of Moroccan graduates into the job market. The purpose of this paper is to ascertain educators perceptions of the critical nature of soft skills for employability in both Ben Msik s faculty of letters and humanities and Faculty of science. Ben Msik faculties educators were surveyed to assess the importance of specific soft skills and how these skills affect success in the workforce. Forty five educators from Ben Msik s department of Letters and Humanities and Ben Msik s faculty of Sciences in the Casablanca-Settat region of Morocco participated in this study. The data collection instrument was an online questionnaire. Results show that the majority of teachers deem the integration of soft skills in the higher education curriculum important for employability. Educators identified general communication, oral communication, problem solving and critical thinking, teamwork and professionalism and strong work ethic as the top five important soft skills to be integrated in the Moroccan higher education curriculum. General communication, problem solving and critical thinking, teamwork, presentation skills and responsibility were ranked as the top five most important soft skills for employability.

The purpose of this study will be to see what factors affect the JCI on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2010 to 2021. Analysis using partial test, simultaneous test, correlation and regression of the independent variable to the dependent variable, using SPSS software version 22. The conclusion of the study is that inflation has no significant effect on the JCI, while economic growth, the dollar exchange rate and SBI have a significant effect on the JCI. Simultaneously (together), Economic Growth Inflation, Dollar Exchange Rate and SBI have a significant effect on the JCI for the period 2010 to 2021.

This study aims to determine the behavior of the preachers by using variables taken from previous research. This study uses a mixed method between quantitative and qualitative. Data were collected through a survey approach, focus group discussions, and in-depth interviews. The sample of this study was selected using a random sampling technique selected in several districts with a total of 90 samples. Surveys are shared online. The object of this research is the young preachers who enter the millennial generation and are active in lecturing. Quantitative data from the survey results were processed using a descriptive statistical approach, while the interview results were processed using a qualitative approach. The results of this study indicate that the variables of seeking information, hedonic behavior, close friendships, expanding friendships, and the behavior when spreading Islamic symbols have contributed significantly to the social behavior and lecturing of young lecturers in Central Sulawesi. This research contributes to the development of future da wah strategies.

This study discusses the current situation of professional identity of early childhood education students in colleges from three aspects: professional cognition, professional attitude and emotion, and professional behaviour, and tries to understand the influencing factors of professional identity, including personal information, scholastic performance, etc. The study determined the relationship between the professional identity with the scholastic performance of the prospective early childhood education teachers. Results show that scholastic performance is significantly and positively correlated with the total professional identity score and its three dimensions.

This paper investigates the beliefs of the English for Specific Purposes Teachers (ESPTs) about their roles in teaching English Technical Vocabulary (ETV) in a Saudi Arabian Industrial college called Yanbu Industrial College (YIC). It also aims to find the reasons behind their beliefs and explores the extent to which their beliefs go in line with the literature available about this topic. Methodologically, a qualitative study under the case study tradition was conducted. Six ESPTs were interviewed to understand their beliefs regarding their roles in teaching technical vocabulary and the reasons behind their stated beliefs. The study found different beliefs held by ESPTs. They believed that ETV items form should be taught by them, meaning should be introduced jointly with subject teacher and use should be taught by subject teachers due to its advanced technicality. The study suggested some educational implications and recommended experts in the area to carry out future scrutiny to understand this topic from different dimensions.

The purpose of this study is to find and explain the form of efforts in realizing the development of PAI learning based on professionalism and teacher competence in learning. The research method used is qualitative by applying literature studies as a theoretical reference developed into a reflective conceptual implementation based on experience and conditions in the field, in this case PAI learning in schools. The findings of this study are related to the competence of PAI teachers in the development of the transition period after the Covid-19 pandemic, the duties and obligations of a PAI teacher that must be lived, as well as the concept of developing PAI learning combined with indonesian culture with Islamic value and learning development using the internet and applications to create effective and efficient learning.

The purpose of this study was to explore the applicability of the Ovahimba people s traditional methods of learning their Indigenous Knowledge Systems to educational programmes in Namibia. An ethnographic study was carried out within the Ovahimba community to explore the various methods they use in disseminating their indigenous knowledge systems among themselves. The data was collected through individual interviews and focus group interviews discussions with the sampled members of the Ovahimba community in Kunene region, Namibia. The data was analysed thematically, interpreted and discussed drawing further insights from literature evidence. Key findings revealed that Ovahimba people have eight main methods of learning indigenous knowledge, which relates to observations, practical learning, show-and-teach, demonstration, consultation, dancing, folktales, questioning or probing methods, and incidental learning. Educational institutions, curriculum developers and teachers in Kunene region where Ovahimba people resides, are implored to align their teaching to the traditional methods of learning for the Ovahimba community so that the community members can easily grasp the curriculum content as those are their traditional methods of learning that are familiar to them. The study recommended the integration of the methods into the educational programmes meant for the Ovahimba community. Such integration would help Ovahimba people to relate their learning to their indigenous methods of knowing, ultimately enhancing the literacy level among the Ovahimba community

The establishment of policies to enhance the welfare of senior citizens considers the quality of life to be a key indicator of wellbeing. The purpose of this study is to determine the quality of life for senior citizens residing in residential care facilities run by the public, private, and non-profit sectors in Malaysia. 459 people from 12 different locations participated in the survey. After that, the data were examined using the descriptive method of analysis in the Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS). Physical, psychological, social, and environmental aspects of quality of life were evaluated. The findings offer a thorough understanding of the elderly and have a number of implications for future study and decision-making.

Far from being a projection for the future, the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) for educational ends is today a commonplace reality. The exploitation of internet-based applications is part and parcel of the teaching endeavors within and across instructional settings. In the EFL teaching setting, teachers are expected to maximize the effective and efficient usage of various technological tools to ease the learners’ elaboration of the target language-related skills. However, findings from recent research point to the substantial discrepancies among EFL teachers in terms of technology acceptance. Teachers range from technology espousers, through technology evaders to technology drop-outs. Against this background, this paper seeks to examine the Moroccan private high school teachers’ stance toward the espousal of ICTs in teaching practice. Using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) devised by Davis (1989), this quantitative study is geared towards deciphering the Moroccan private high school teachers’ readiness to espouse technology and, ultimately, step away from the traditional, pen-and-paper-bound style. The study reveals that Moroccan high school teachers subscribe to the idea that ICT implementation is a warranty for reaching an optimal level of quality in EFL teaching, but they remain apprehensive and reluctant about an immediate buy-in of ICTs for subjective and objective reasons.

During the health crisis of Covid-19, individuals around the world were placed under lockdown between the months of March and June 2020. In some countries, this has occurred even in the next two years. A situation experienced for the first time by current generations with strong economic, social and psychological impacts, as well as considerable effects on the consumption habits of the population. Similarly, the audiovisual consumption habits have undergone a change characterized by the use of some media more than others. This work is a literature review, exposing the latest theoretical advances in research on audiovisual consumption during lockdown situations. In addition, we attempt to explain the factors guiding consumer choices through media use models that focus on psychological, emotional, personal and environmental aspects of media consumption choices. The aim of this work is therefore to suggest research paths linking audiovisual consumption habits during lockdown to media use models.

According to statistics, Vietnam has 289 industrial zones (IZs) and export processing zones (EPZs) in operation, 98 industrial parks in the stage of site clearance, which is expected to attract about 2.1 – 2.2 million workers. The majority of workers working in IZs come from rural areas. More than 70% of workers are renting houses around IZs; the number of workers living in dormitories built by enterprises accounts for a very low percentage (5%). Most of the rooms are very cramped (the average area is from 2 – 3 m2 /person)1. From the problems of the IZs, especially in the working environment of workers, we focus on finding out the violations of the regulations and rules of the enterprises, so that we can make some recommendations to prevent deviant behavior in the work environment. Analysis of factors related to the characteristics of workers affecting deviant behavior is the main content of the article.

This study examines the role of community elites in reconciliation of social conflicts based on restorative justice to achieve mutual understanding of how to get out of pseudo-harmony as an alternative to social conflict resolution in Sigi Regency. Research is a type of descriptive qualitative research using a case study approach. Data collection was carried out through in situ observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The analysis technique uses univariate and bivariate analysis techniques, while checking the validity of the data uses triangaulation theory. The results showed that social conflict reconciliation based on restorative justice, is very effective in changing people s mindsets about conflict transformation from pseudo-harmony to eternal harmony as a form of transformation of the ethos of peace. In the perspective of Islamic education, social integration strengthens if the reality of the social life of society is far from the low-trust society, so that a collective life process attitude is born to live in peace and work together. In that way, the pseudo-harmony resulting from the peace agreement changed to eternal harmony as a result of peace awareness, ushering in the people in Sigi district to play a strategic role of individual participation and social obligations in one moment of peace.

But all of that returns to each individual, where the individual is formed starting from the home environment, school / college, work environment and social environment. The article analyzes data on the life and activity of Muhammad Yaqubbek (1820-1877) who was former ruler of the Yettishahar state (1864-1877) in the Khuqand khanate (1709-1876). The most of scientists paid attention to enlighten the role of Yaqubbek in questions connected to the state of Yettishahr (1864-1877). Historian did not describe enough issues related to his early life and activities. The biography of Muhammad Yaqubbek, his political activity in the khanate of Khuqand, his titles, his fight against troops of the Russian Empire, military skills, his entrepreneurship activity and his descendants are learned on the base of data of written sources. He took part in the political games that took place in the khanate, during the struggle of the princes for the throne. His military or administrative activities gradually moved from the lowest to the highest. In addition to serving the ascended Kokand khans, he took all possible measures to protect his homeland.

This paper draws from a study conducted on the Influence of Selected Working Conditions on Teachers’ Commitments to their Professional Roles in Public Secondary Schools in Njoro Sub- County, Kenya. . This paper focuses on instructional materials and resources on teachers commitment to their professional roles in public secondary schools in Njoro Sub-County, Kenya. The study anchors on Hertzberg Two factor theory which postulates that motivation comprises maintenance and motivational factors. This theory recognizes work environment as a motivator of employees and influences on employee job satisfaction and commitment. Questionnaires were applied to collect data. Data was obtained from 60 Heads of Department and 88 class teachers employed by the Teachers Service Commission. Descriptive and inferential statistics was used to analyze data. The study established that adequate instruction materials have a significant bearing on the commitment of teachers among other factors. To this end, the study recommends the need to consider the provision of adequate teaching and learning facilities to schools based on contextual evidence.

Indo-European languages are the native languages of the habitants of south and west Eurasia. It is the largest spoken language family in the world with 3.5 billion speakers, corresponding to 46% of the world population. Kurdish and English are genetically related, belong to the same family branch of languages, and are believed to have evolved from a common proto-language. Lexical Similarity measures the similarity and/or difference between a set of words from any given two languages. Despite the abundance of lexical similarity coefficients between various world languages in the literature, there are no available data on Kurdish, even though many Kurdish natives learn English as L2. The objective of this paper is to estimate the lexical similarity between two remotely related Indo-European languages. Our results showed (8.75%) and (9.75%) lexical similarity between English and Kurdish according to the Leipzig-Jakarta and Swadesh lists respectively; giving the average of (9.25%). In conclusion, English and Kurdish languages are related Indo-European languages and the lists used in this research are proven to be reliable in the comparison between the studied languages. These cognates can be helpful for the learners and teachers of Kurdish and Kurdish in their language acquisition process.

From the results of this study, it will be known about the legal force of the deed of binding sale and purchase agreement of land rights made by a Notary in the implementation of making the Sale and Purchase Deed is very strong because the deed is a notarial deed which is an authentic deed and legal protection for the fulfillment of rights. the parties if one of the parties defaults in the sale and purchase binding agreement, it really depends on the strength of the sale and purchase binding agreement made, that is, if it is made with an underhand deed, the protection is in accordance with the protection of an underhand deed, while if it is made by or before a notary then automatically the deed becomes a notarial deed so that the power of protection is in accordance with the protection of the authentic deed.

Many cultures have developed myths and legends rooted in the ideas of vampirism, lycanthropy, and witchcraft. According to anthropological currents, these stories don t come up from nothing, but follow a process of transformation of elements drawn from real experiences eventually transformed into fictional stories depending on the message they are meant to spread. Every legend has an origin in history, an event with no plausible explanation at the time due to lack of scientific technology and resources. Although, reality can be described in scientific terms. These possible facts connected to mythology do not entirely explain the success of myth in folklore, but only some more or less impressive aspects following these legends. These facts when turned and twisted by imagination and superstitious thinking create these inexplicable enthralling stories which undoubtedly would be passed down to generations as souvenirs of history, culture, and civilization.

This study sought to investigate Achebe s ideological change from male-oriented view to feministic point of view. A significant number of critics argue that Chinua Achebe s earlier novels such as Things Fall Apart depict women as being passive in the society. This study, therefore presents a depiction female gender in Chinua Achebe s novel Things Fall Apart and A man of the people. The study is based on the premise that A man of the people reflects Chinua Achebe s change from traditional African Literature to modern fiction. The study was guided by one main objective; to examine shifts in depiction of Female gender in Chinua Achebe s novel Things Fall Apart and A man of the people. The study applied the critical feminist literary theory as propounded by McDowell (1995). The study was anchored on qualitative research methods. Data analysis was done through qualitative analysis more specific interpretative and narration methods. Interpretive methods were use for the perusal of the two novels and a number of academic critical studies on different aspects of literary works. Narration methods were used to reveal information on issues on female gender. The findings of the study show that a positive shift from female gender from a patriarchal society to empowered women who contributes to sociopolitical society.

Some languages come from historical common ancestors and they share similarity on the basis phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics and pragmatics. Some words resemble each other between remote and even unrelated languages. Apart from historical borrowing, this is mainly due to common ancestor language. Degree of lexical similarity is one of the methods to measure word and cognate resemblance between languages. For this purpose, some lists have been proposed by professionals that contain words with the slightest possibility of borrowing from another language and the highest durability throughout time. The word for tooth is present in all these lists. This shows the stability of this word and accounts for its similitude among world languages.

This study analyzed the contribution of higher education institutions in Gorontalo to the preservation of local culture, more specifically the local Islamic culture of Gorontalo. It was a qualitative research in which researchers collected data through observation, interviews, and document studies. Meanwhile, data analysis was carried out during data collection and at a certain period when data collection has been completed. The results show that in Gorontalo today local culture is more identical to the older genre. Therefore, higher education institutions are required to be able to contribute to the sustainability and preservation of Gorontalo culture, especially Gorontalo Islamic culture which is the cultural wealth of the archipelago. The management of higher education institutions must be managed properly. In particular, the good university management is then commonly referred to as good university governance. The people of Indonesia have the potential to make a holistic contribution to the expansion of scientific knowledge if they establish sound university administrations that are founded on traditional knowledge. The idea of good university governance based on local wisdom and its actualization can be utilized in many different areas of education, including the advancement of science, technology, and culture. Higher education institutions in Gorontalo ought to be able to make the most of their role in the preservation of cultural traditions and more specifically the Islamic culture that is indigenous to Gorontalo. It is hoped that this would have a positive influence on the younger generation, as they are the ones who will carry on the traditions of the local culture and ensure that they continue to exist.

Flooding is an environmental hazard that needs appropriate measures to be instituted to stem the tide of occurrence. In recent times, flooding has become a regular feature hence, the study focused on examining the causes and effects of flooding in Nigeria. The study relied on previous academic scholarly articles in achieving the aim. It was noted in the study that flooding is caused by natural and human activities. For instance, excessive rainfall, terrain and nature of soils are natural causes of flooding. Furthermore, poor environmental planning/monitoring, housing development in flood prone areas, deforestation, haphazard developments resulting in the blockage of drains, poor waste disposal practices, negligence by government in designing and implementing policies at various levels as well as poor environmental planning and weak enforcement of policies contribute to flood occurrence. As expected, the effects of flooding are negative. Notably, flooding results in submerging of farm lands, housing properties and loss the lives of victims. Due to the negative effects of flooding, it can be accepted that flooding is a serious environmental threat that demands the institutionalization of appropriate measures in ensuring its management. To this end, the present study suggested that government should ensure that environmental management policies are properly enforced in the country. Equally, development control activities should be taken seriously to avoid erecting developments on flood plains and flood prone areas. Finally, regular environmental education should be given priority in the society.

This research was conducted with a qualitative case study approach with the object of research being a savings and loan cooperative located in Badung Regency-Bali. The research was conducted by interview and direct observation to the cooperative. The research method used is a single-case holistic. Data analysis was carried out by means of within-case analysis. The results show that the phases of dynamic capability adaptation play an important role in the innovation development process in Savings and Loans Cooperative SMEs. This study provides implications for the cooperative sector SMEs regarding the steps taken by cooperatives to absorb external knowledge so as to assist in determining the innovation development process. Based on these findings, This research has contributed to the development of the concept of dynamic capability adaptation phases from the results of interviews during the research conducted by the researcher. This study is expected to contribute input in the development of innovation for SMEs in the cooperative sector.

Assessing students performance in a particular context is crucial for teachers. Teachers should have enough knowledge and skill of how students construct their knowledge to enhance their learning. The study aimed to explore the pre-service teachers understanding of assessment for learning from a sociocultural perspective. In a qualitative research design, a semi-structured interview was conducted with five second-year secondary pre-service teachers studying Assessment for learning as a foundation course in their B.Ed. programme. The analysis of the finding revealed that participants had minimal understanding of assessment for learning. Participants were not adequately prepared to assess students performance in a sociocultural paradigm.

The tax harmonization law is one of the efforts to maximize state revenues after the pandemic. Effectiveness is assessed from the extent to which the HPP law is able to achieve the expectations it is intended for . This research was conducted in Bali, 2022 using a narrative FGD method involving the DGT, Tax Consultants, and Taxpayers as informants, and involving 50 respondents as samples to strengthen the results of the FGD. The result of this research is that the government s socialization regarding the HPP Law can be conveyed well. The HPP Law is not fully capable of increasing growth and supporting the acceleration of economic recovery, but it is one of the government s efforts by stimulating, subsidizing MSMEs and businesses engaged in the basic needs of the community. State revenues during the pandemic tend to decline in line with the global economic downturn. However, with the HPP Law, the government is able to achieve the target of acceptance, one of which is voluntary disclosure. The HPP Law is also able to realize a tax system that is fair and with legal certainty and can realize the implementation of administrative reforms, consolidated tax policies, and the expansion of the tax base, as well as increasing voluntary compliance. So the harmonization of tax regulations is effective

Notaries as officials have the authority to make authentic deeds as well as other authorities as regulated in Law Number 2 of 2014 concerning Notary Position Regulations. Notaries are responsible for what is witnessed, seen, and also carried out by the notary himself as a public official who carries out his position. This research is a normative research with a descriptive analytical approach to legislation. The purpose of this research is to examine and further analyze the validity of the notarial deed made based on forged documents by the appearers. The results of the study indicate that the making of a Power of Attorney based on a forged document is null and void and the Notary is not responsible if the appearers provide false documents because the notary is not obliged to investigate materially about everything presented by the appearers.

Classroom Response System (CRS) is one of the educational tools teachers can use to promote active learning and improve student learning. Despite the promising benefits of the CRS, there is less account of its impact in secondary mathematics classrooms as compared to higher education. In this study, a descriptive survey design was used to describe the perception of Senior High School students on the use of the CRS in learning mathematics. Students were exposed to Blicker, a classroom response system tool that uses Bluetooth Low Energy to interact with the teacher. Survey shows that CRS increase students engagement, interactivity, and students perceived CRS to be beneficial for their learning. Moreover, students favored the CRS anonymity feature and enjoyed the affordability of the CRS to promote student-teacher interaction through the question-feedback process. The interview shared common themes on the CRS benefits and validated students claims that CRS attributed to an increase in engagement, interactivity, and learning in mathematics. Overall, the student’s perceptions of the use of CRS are overwhelmingly positive and students strongly recommend the use of CRS in other learning areas.

The main goal of this article is to analyze 688 KCI (Korea Citation Index) articles in terms of the Biblio data collector and the software package NetMiner. A point to note is that there was a publication of 33 KCI articles in December in 2020, which have the highest frequency (33 articles) and the highest proportion (0.048). A further point to note is that the word study was the most frequently used keyword, followed by the word Corpus, and the word verb, in that order. It is interesting to note that topic 6 that is constituted by the words learner, English, study, verb, and student occurred in 125 articles (the highest). It is noteworthy that topic 6 was the most preferred by authors, followed by topic 5, topic1, and topic 8. With respect to degree (the frequency of documents), it is worthwhile noting that the word study was the most preferred by authors, followed by the word Corpus, the word result, the word analysis, and the word corpus. Finally, this article provides the visualization of which words are linked to the word corpus. To be more specific, the words language, student, translation and the Korean word malmwungchi corpus are directly linked to the word corpus

As time goes on, it is important that Traditional Knowledge be protected. Especially the protection of IPR laws against traditional knowledge itself. Legal protection This traditional knowledge is in fact not only done in developing countries but also in developed countries. In this paper, the authors are interested in discussing the comparison of traditional knowledge legal protection in several countries, such as Bangladesh, Australia and Indonesia. The research method used in this paper uses normative juridical. The discussion in this paper will be divided into two, namely the concept of understanding traditional knowledge as intellectual property and a comparison of legal protection for traditional knowledge in Bangladesh, Australia, and Indonesia.

This study discusses the current situation of professional identity of early childhood education students in colleges From three aspects: professional cognition, professional attitude and emotion, and professional behaviour, and tries to understand the influencing factors of professional identity, including personal information, scholastic performance, etc. The study determined the relationship between the professional identities with the scholastic performance of the prospective early childhood education teachers. Results show that scholastic performance is significantly and positively correlated with the total professional identity score.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using e-learning on reading comprehension among high school students in learning English. The quantitative approach used in this study was developed using a quasi-experimental approach. The method used in this study is quasi-experimental. The data analysis technique used in this study is to compare the two groups which are calculated statistically. As a result of the analytical test, the effect of e-learning on reading comprehension of the control group and experimental high school students was recognized at the 5% significance level (0.000 < 0.05). The data shows that reading comprehension increases in the experimental class that applies e-learning. This study concludes that reading comprehension in learning English is better in the experimental group than in the control group. The use of e-learning has a positive influence on reading comprehension for high school students.

The existing international system of collective management of copyright and related rights is based on mutual representation agreements concluded by collecting societies, which impose territorial restrictions on the activities of these entities. The article examines the possible conflict of these territorial restrictions with the law of the European Union, applying scientific theoretical and empirical methods. The article identifies the position of the Court of Justice of the European Communities, the European Parliament and the European Commission on this issue, and draws conclusions on the possible consequences, based on the models proposed by these institutions.

Based on Law Number 40 of 2007 concerning Limited Liability Companies Jo. Law Number 8 of 2010 Concerning the Prevention and Eradication of Money Laundering Jo. Regulation of the Indonesian Republic of Indonesia Court of Justice Number 13 of 2016 concerning Procedures for Handling Criminal Cases by Corporations provides space for criminalizing corporations as subjects that are held liable for criminal acts of money laundering. However, law enforcement officers rarely place corporations as subjects for criminal responsibility in money laundering cases, even though corporations play an essential role in the occurrence of money laundering crimes. This was proven by handling the money laundering case taken by the Corruption Eradication Commission, which for the first time, made PT Putra Ramadhan a corporation that was asked to be held responsible for criminal acts of money laundering.

The purpose of this study is to find out how the forms of legal breakthroughs are known in law enforcement practices in the application of elements detrimental to the state economy related to handling cases of criminal acts of corruption, is it possible?. This study uses a doctrinal juridical approach. The results of the study explain that in terms of both legal and formal in the form of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 31 of 1999 Jo. Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 21 of 2001 concerning Amendments to Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 31 of 1999 concerning Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption, legal doctrines and the existence of a judicial review decision of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Indonesia Number: 25 PUU-XIV 2016, Legal breakthroughs in the application of elements detrimental to the economy countries related to the handling of cases of criminal acts of corruption, can be held criminally accountable with criminal sanctions in accordance with the provisions of Article 2 paragraph (1) or Article 3 of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 31 of 1999 Jo. Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 21 of 2001 concerning Amendments to Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 31 of 1999 concerning the Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption in an objective and casual manner. If there is an element of harming the country s economy in accordance with the provisions of criminal law, especially the eradication of corruption.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of liquidity, activity and solvency on profitability at PT. Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk., in the period 2016-2020 period either simultaneously and partially. The problem discussed in this thesis is the decline in profits, which are fluctuating every year. The data analysis technique in this research is using quantitative menthods and secondary data. The population in this study is the food and baverage industry for the 2016-2020 and the sample taken is PT. Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk. 2016-2020. The determination of samples in this study was purposive sampling. The analysis tool used is the multiple linear regression analysis method. Based on the results of statistical analysis, the following results were obtained: the results of the t-test showed that financial factors: (1) Liquidity has a negative and insignificant effect on Profitability. (2) Activities have a positive and insignificant effect on profitability. (3) Solvency has a positive and insignificant effect on profitability. The results of the F test show that the current ratio has a negative effect, inventory turn over, and debt to equity ratio have a positive and simultaneously in significant effect on return on assets.

Since the attainment of political independence in 1980, Zimbabwe has made tremendous progress in instituting local government reforms such as institutional consolidations, and realignment of legal and policy frameworks. The Local Government Associations are one institution that emerged as the voice articulating policy and legal interests of local authorities through lobbying, representation, and advocacy. However, since 1980, their endeavors in the promotion and advancement of the Zimbabwean local government system have eluded serious scholarly inquiry. Therefore, the objective of this paper is to establish the contributions of the Local Government Associations to the Zimbabwean local governance system. This qualitative study adopted the case study research design and purposive sampling was used to identify respondents from former and current local government practitioners as well as civil society representatives. Primary data was collected through key informant interviews and documentary analysis was used in the collection of secondary data. Thematic analysis was used to make meaning from the themes that emerged from the data. The constitutionalisation of local government in 2013 ranks as the major achievement by the associations. Despite these achievements, the associations are faced with challenges like limited funding, political interference, and failure to conclude the issue of qualifications for councillors. Local Government Associations remain as key players in amplifying the voice of their members on local governance issues. Leadership capacitation is needed for them to remain relevant and effective.

To meet all the needs needed by humans, it is sometimes necessary to have additional capital that we can obtain through banks in the form of credit. To guarantee the passage of credit, banks need collateral to be analyzed by the bank s internal appraiser. However, in its development a new service sub-business emerged, namely an Appraiser who can help banks assess the collateral, in evaluating an appraiser must carry out their duties in accordance with the standards and code of ethics and in carrying out the assessment an appraiser is in a place called the Public Appraisal Service Office. In the assessment process it is undeniable that there is no conformity with the principles and code of ethics of the assessor, causing losses. For this action it is not possible to have administrative sanctions that can be applied to the Appraiser or Office of Public Appraisal Services. The research method used is a normative juridical legal research method, the approach used in legal research is the statute approach (¬). Results and Discussion In evaluating bank customer collateral, the legal relationship between the bank and the Appraiser as well as the Office of Public Appraisal Services is the existence of a cooperation agreement regarding the assessment of bank collateral. In carrying out the assessment activities it is undeniable that sometimes the appraiser does not work in accordance with the standards and ethical code of the existing assessors, causing losses so that it does not rule out the possibility of administrative sanctions in the form of warnings, restrictions on certain object valuation services, restrictions on the provision of certain services, freezing permits, revocation of permits. However, it does not rule out the possibility of imposing civil and criminal sanctions in accordance with what has been promised in the cooperation agreement.

This study aims to develop an interactive multimedia-based Googling learning model for elementary school students in Banjarmasin City. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D). The subject of this study was a Grade IV student at SD Surgi Mufti, Banjarmasin. Data collection techniques through questionnaires, observations, and tests. The data analysis technique used is a descriptive analysis using tables and graphs. The feasibility testing results of this interactive multimedia-based googling learning model product are categorized as feasible because the effects of media validation testing, materials, and individual and small group tests show excellent categories. In terms of practicality, the development of this learning model is categorized as very good because the score category of learning implementation results and learning activities of class students has a range between 3.5–4.0. Googling model can train and develop students ability to think critically, become more active and passionate in learning, and train student cooperation in discussions. The interactive multimedia-based googling model clarifies the presentation of the material, overcomes the limitations of space, time, and sensory power, and can overcome students passive attitudes.

One of the important problems faced by the government in Indonesia is the demands for the enforcement of (severe) human rights that occurred in the past. This issue is no longer limited to the political will of the government, but the problem continues on how to formulate an appropriate conception of justice for the severance of relations with the past, whether by enforcing the law against past violations or the termination in other forms as has been done by several Countries in the world. In this paper using the literature study method by examining data sources related to this writing with the results of the study showing the weakness of the government s efforts to resolve past human rights violations so that community participation is needed to contribute to solving past human rights problems. in Indonesia by reviving the Truth and Reconciliation Commission, because its philosophy is very important in maintaining a more conducive harmonious social life.

Anything, phenomenon, or person that exists has a balance in internal and external exchange. The exchange of humans is a natural, social exchange. Natural, social on the outside becomes knowledge within man. The exchange of knowledge is the exchange within and outside of humans, the exchange of life. Human life manifests itself in functions and tasks in work, occupation, and scientific knowledge. Scientific knowledge is human life, but science becomes a profession that makes science strange, that is science outside of humans. Science beyond humans is science fiction. Imagination in science takes the premise outside of humans as a yardstick for comparison between humans. Discrimination between human beings appears as right and wrong, truth and falsehood, justice and injustice, good and evil, beautiful and ugly, rich and poor, noble and low... Science outside people take philosophy, mathematics as a methodology, the correctness of science is measured by a philosophical or mathematical stance, but philosophy and mathematics are started from a premise outside of man, not yet proof, it makes science puzzling, imaginary. Imagination becomes the impotence of science, the unhappiness of man. The need to eliminate helplessness and unhappiness becomes the need to abolish science fiction, to abolish science beyond humans. Science takes human life as the premise, that is human science, human philosophy.

This descriptive study aimed to determine the familiarity and use of particular Hiligaynon terminologies. The respondents were the 261 residents of the 25 barangays of one of the municipalities in Iloilo, Philippines. The data were gathered using a researcher-made questionnaire that tested reliability and validity. Results showed that respondents were no longer familiar with and did not use particular Hiligaynon terminologies. When classified as to sex and age, male and younger Estanciahanons were no longer familiar with particular mother-tongue terminologies and their usage. However, the female and older generations were still familiar with some particular mother-tongue terminologies, but they were no longer using some of them. No significant difference was found in the proportion of respondents who were familiar with particular Hiligaynon terminologies when classified as to sex, while a significant difference was found when classified as to age. Thus, the life of particular Hiligaynon terminologies depends on its speakers. If they are not spoken and used daily, it may lead to extinction and, later, die out.

Every form of art bears tracks from the artist s real or fictive experience. Physical pain as an important human experience have been discussed, described and painted in many literary works. In addition, there are enough proofs to believe that toothache – a unique representative of bodily pains- is an old friend of humanity. Hence, it is more than natural to see the reflections of this symptom in the written literature. In this essay we are going to focus on two particular literary works of different genres; a novella and a fairy tale: Dostoyevsky s Notes from Underground and Hans Christian Anderson s Aunty Toothache These two authors and these two particular works have been studied in many different aspects. However, the place and importance of the concept of Toothache was not investigated in previous analyses. Therefore, the subject of this paper is justified in one hand, original and unprecedented on the other hand. As it shall be seen, Dostoyevsky uses toothache as a tool to attack the basics of Rational Egoism in 19th Russia and employs it to counter-argument against natural and historical determinism in favor of human s free will. In the case of Anderson, toothache is an allegory about friendship and art in which toothache accompanies, and is compared with the pain of striving to produce a piece of art.

This paper investigates the possibility of transforming tourism sector in Tanzania using secondary sources. The paper is descriptive in order to describe the potential influence of tourism and hospitality industry that has attracted considerable interest in academia and industry alike. The findings suggest that there is limited ways in which some tourist products are measured and sold by some participating hotels and lodges (especially new ones) for measuring the influence tourism and hospitality on their respective goals and the different perspectives, namely financial or other, taken into consideration when doing so. Overall, the findings suggest that tourism sector in the country has once again increased the prospects of growth. The paper concludes that it is important for company operating for a while to have their presence online to enable them to observe and measure the social engagement attentively in order to succeed in financial terms.

There are many losses experienced by the community due to investment activities that use financial technology. Legal facts show that non-litigation and civil litigation efforts have not been able to implement the legal objectives. The purpose of this study is to find the answer whether criminal legal remedies can the aggrieved party take in investing using financial technology to realize the value of benefits for legal purposes. This research is a normative juridical research. The results of the study indicate that criminal law efforts can implement legal objectives, if there is adequate competence from the police, prosecutors and judges regarding investment and financial technology.

This study aims to examine the effect of perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use on repurchase intention on the Shopee application in Indonesia. The independent variables in this study are perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use, and the dependent variable in this study is repurchase intention. This research is quantitative research using a descriptive approach. The data used in this study are primary data obtained from 182 respondents. The technique used when taking samples in this study is using a non-probability sampling technique with a purposive sampling method. In distributing the questionnaire using the respondent s criteria, namely people who have used the Shopee application and are domiciled in Indonesia. The results of the study using multiple regression analysis with the results that the variables perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use have a positive and significant effect on repurchase intention on the Shopee application in Indonesia.
